Fundamentals First: K–12 Social Studies Programs

We help students master critical thinking, historical analysis, and geographic literacy. Our targeted tutoring aligns with the Alberta curriculum to transform dense textbook facts into logical, high-scoring exam responses and essays.

Primary Division (Grades K–3)
Early grades explore identity, community structures, and basic heritage. We help students connect these social concepts to their everyday lives.
  • Kindergarten: Exploring personal identity, unique self-worth, and classroom community belonging.
  • Grade 1: Understanding citizenship, active community roles, and diverse family heritages.
  • Grade 2: Discovering Canadian communities, local geography, and historical change over time.
  • Grade 3: Examining global geographic communities and tracing early indigenous and settler history.
Upper Elementary Division (Grades 4–6)

Students transition into studying regional histories and formal governance. We reinforce active reading, timeline building, and fact extraction.

  • Grade 4: Masterful deep-dive into Alberta’s unique geography, paleontology, and historical stories.
